A suite of live service marketing assets was developed to support the ongoing content cycle of Company of Heroes 3. As a continuously evolving title, it had frequent updates, patches, community events, and partnerships beyond its initial launch. Each required clear, distinctive, and engaging visuals tailored for digital and social media platforms. Work encompassed art direction, visual development, and execution across a range of deliverables, including patch key art, roadmaps, livestream graphics, community event assets, and marketing collaborations such as Amazon Prime promotions.

Exploring new ways to create visual interest with assets was an exciting challenge, particularly when defining the overarching look and feel for the major update marketing art. Inspiration was drawn from World War II nose-art motifs, combining hand-painted animal illustrations with bold stencil typography. This approach gave each update its own recognizable identity while remaining cohesive within the Company of Heroes 3 brand.

The outcome was a distinctive and flexible system of live service artwork that engaged the player community, strengthened recognition of ongoing content, and expanded the game’s presence across social channels and partner platforms.
