The Company of Heroes 3 apparel and merchandise range focused on historical authenticity, modern styling, and community impact. From a limited-edition bomber jacket for community giveaways to a range of event and promotional items, each piece was carefully crafted to balance authenticity, brand consistency, and production feasibility. The result was a cohesive, high-impact collection that drove community engagement, amplified brand presence, and reinforced pride among players and internal teams.

Limited Edition Jacket

Tasked with creating a unique bomber jacket for community giveaways and competitions, the project involved leading the creative direction in close collaboration with Insert Coin to design a bespoke Company of Heroes 3 branded jacket inspired by iconic WW2 military tanker jackets.

The design process began with research and reference gathering, followed by the development of early mock-ups exploring the jacket’s cut, detailing, and fabric. Delving further into the aesthetic nuances, color swatches were chosen to authentically capture the essence of WW2 military aesthetics. Simultaneously, attention was given to creating and selecting patch designs, with careful consideration of size and placement for maximum visual impact. The attention to detail produced a distinctive end product that embodied the historical influence while still retaining a modern style.

In addition to marking the game’s release, this limited edition apparel generated excitement, playing an important role in encouraging further community engagement in giveaways and events.

Other Apparel + Branded Swag

Designed to extend the presence of Relic and the Company of Heroes franchise across industry events, livestreams, developer diaries, and internal gifting, the apparel and merchandise range included shirts, hats, custom iron-on patches, bags, pins, and other branded items. The design process required balancing brand consistency with practical production considerations, such as artwork complexity, colour limitations, and scalability. The result was a cohesive, high-impact range that elevated brand visibility, reinforced identity, and fostered team pride.
